Royal Mail International
A reputation gained from over three centuries of service, Royal Mail has garnered high marks for its outstanding delivery of items both in the UK and to international destinations.
Royal Mail is proud to offer the International Signed For program which customers can have the recipient in any destination across the world sign for items delivered, assuring the sender that their packages have arrived. Item will not be handed over unless they are signed for first.
This is a cost efficient and secure delivery service backed by compensation of up to 100 times the cost of the First Class fee or the content value, whichever is lower. Customers do have the choice to add the option of extra compensation if needed.
Travelling through a separate and secure network, the International Signed For item is listed and accounted for before being handed over to the airlines. Proof of posting is standard and deliveries are made by the local postal operators that provide service in those destinations.
Business customers with an Online Business account can take advantage of a discounted fee for using the International Signed For service.
Royal Mail’s Track and Trace program is offered in up to 30 international destinations. This feature, known as Airsure, provides assurance to those sending valuable items to those destinations with the latest information on their current location.
